Dilico Youth Council has planned a virtual youth gathering for this fall. The theme of their conference is “Celebrating Us” and they have enough resources for 100 Youth per night ages 12 and up to join them for a variety of great events led by motivational speakers Turtle Concepts.

The Provincial Youth Outreach Worker program is back up and running for Dilico Anishinabek Family Care. Alex and Josh have been working to re-establish the program again in our community.
Dilico Anishinabek Family Care is proud to partner with Children’s Centre Thunder Bay and Aislin Mushquash, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University, to create and pilot a new JoyPop TM application.
Learn how to cope with a stressful situation, problem solve, determine a community resource. Based on Aboriginal cultural values.
Families at the centre are introduced to the teachings of the sweatlodge and a ceremony is coordinated during the course of treatment.
