We are looking for a Residential Counsellor Summer Student!

We offer services, rooted in culture, that address diverse issues related to child welfare, mental health & addictions, and primary health. Our Student Placement program welcomes students from a variety of different university and college programs to gain valuable experience and skills with us.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Family Healing Manager or designate, the Residential Counsellor will ensure the treatment needs of clients in care are met by actively participating in the provision of treatment services in residential family facility.  The primary responsibility is to provide individual and group-based treatment services that are consistent with the Vision, Mission and Core Values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.

Requirements:  A post-secondary college or university student returning to school full-time in September 2023 and within to funding constraints – students must be 15-30 years of age.
