
SUMMER STUDENT – NURSING
We are looking for a Nursing Summer Student!

The Dilico Integrated Model of Care brings together a wide range of services and programs to support children, youth, and families to live their good life – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We offer services, rooted in culture, that address diverse issues related to child welfare, mental health & addictions, and primary health. Our Student Placement program welcomes students from a variety of different university and college programs to gain valuable experience and skills with us.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Primary Team Manager, the Nursing Student will work collaborative with the other members of the Primary Care Team, and other Health Services programs, to continually assess current program delivery and services and recommend and participate in new strategies in order to facilitate changes that will enhance patient care. The Nursing Student works as part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals supporting the delivery of primary care to communities within the Robinson-Superior Treaty Area. The student’s focus is health, wellness, promotion, and prevention programs responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of services to designated populations, their families and caregivers.

Requirements: A post-secondary college or university student returning to school full-time in September 2023 and within to funding constraints – students must be 15-30 years of age.
