Adult Services

Assisting Anishinabek adults to experience the satisfaction of living an alcohol and drug free life. 

Adult Service provides many opportunities to support healthy adult lifestyles. Through individual and community services, Adult Services provides assessment, treatment and follow-up.

The Adult Residential Treatment Centre

The Adult Residential Treatment Centre provides a safe, clinically based approach to treatment for alcoholism and drug dependency. The 5-week co-ed treatment program successfully combines cultural teachings, and clinical counseling with a 12-step recovery program. Therapeatic community principles of peer support, cooperation, open communication and shared rehabilitative goals are taught.

Aftercare Program

An 8-week support program including group counseling, relapse prevention education, case management and client-centered support services.  Assistance with integration back into the community is provided.

District Mental Health and Addiction Services

Dilico's District Offices in Armstrong, Longlac, Marathon, Nipigon, and Pic Mobert provide mental health counselling and case management for both adults and children in First Naions communities. Some services and programming may not be offered in all communities.
