The Integrated Services Team Worker (ITSW) provides a family centered psycho-social approach to consultation and intervention services for children 0 to 18 years of age who are “at risk”. In collaboration with Dilico Child Welfare and Health Integrated Services Team staff the ITSW will provide immediate Children’s Mental Health screening, assessment and treatment recommendations for children and their caregivers. ISTW will assist in the implementation of integrated service delivery from the point of consultation to access of required Mental Health and Addictions services for all assigned infants/children and families receiving services.

Qualifications and Requirements: An Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth Worker Diploma is required. A HBSW is preferred.  Five or more years’ experience working within a Children’s Mental Health program. Five or more years providing Children’s Mental Health consultation, screening, assessment and intervention. Extensive experience in providing Children’s Mental Services for the 0-6 population. Candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.

Hours of Work:  32.5 hours per week

Must have: The ability to work flexible hours;  must be certified in CPR and Standard First Aid; travel regularly and act on an “on-call” basis; a valid Class “G” Driver’s License; access to a reliable, personal vehicle; and $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.
