DATA MANAGEMENT CLERK

The Data Management Clerk is responsible for maintaining the data in the Child Welfare Information System. The Data Management Clerk is responsible for ensuring the data entered is an accurate reflection of the current state of the program’s involvement with families and children. The Data Management Clerk provides support in all aspects of Child Welfare Data Management to other members of the Child Welfare team through accurate data entry, training and regular review and monitoring of data that is entered by others.
Qualifications and Requirements: A one-year General Business Certificate required. A minimum of one year experience in data management with emphasis on data accuracy, data quality and data comprehension in a client-centered case management system; sound knowledge of office administration procedures; candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week
Must have: The ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Quality Assurance Manager in relation to service requirements; must possess a Class “G” Driver’s Licence and have access to a personal vehicle which will pass a safety inspection; satisfactory criminal records check.
