CLINICAL SERVICES CASE MANAGER
Counselling and Clinical Support Services
1-Up to One Year Contract,
Location: Thunder Bay

The Clinical Services Case Manager is responsible for the continuous implementation of the case management system. This includes ensuring regular, appropriate documentation on all clinical files; regular conferencing/reviews of relevant cases; evaluating system effectiveness and recommending necessary changes; ensuring the current developmental, treatment, and psycho-social needs of clients are met by participating in the provision of assessment and counselling.
Qualifications and Requirements: A psychology Degree coupled with experience working in a clinical role within a Children’s Mental Health program is required. An HBSW, or related undergraduate degree or may be considered if complimented by significant experience and demonstrated skill. experience working with Anishinabek children, families and communities; a minimum three (3) years mental health case management experience with clients; a minimum three (3) years experience providing individual, family and group counselling, preferably with Anishinabek clients. Candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week
Must have: The ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Counselling and Clinical Support Services Manager in relation to service requirements; a valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate is recommended; a valid Class “G” Driver’s License; access to a reliable, personal vehicle; $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance; satisfactory Criminal Records Search; and able to complete and maintain certification in CANS and other relevant Ministry of Children and Youth Services initiatives.
