CASUAL RESIDENTIAL ADDICTIONS WORKERS
Adult Residential Treatment Services,
Location: Thunder Bay
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
The Casual Residential Worker will ensure the safety and well-being of the clients, the security of the treatment centre and the provision of scheduled weekend care to residents at the centre. As well, the Casual Residential Worker will be expected to fill in for other shifts as required on a call in basis.
Qualifications and Requirements: College diploma in addictions counseling or social work preferred; experience in the field of mental health and addiction as it relates to Anishinabek communities; the provision of individual and group-based treatment services.
Hours of Work: Casual – as needed
Wage: $15.68 per hour
Must have: The ability to work flexible hours; a valid Class “G” Driver’s License; access to a reliable, personal vehicle; $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance; a valid Standard First Aid/CPR certificate; must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health.
