The Alternative Care Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of Alternative Care services in the City of Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. The Alternative Care Manager is responsible to provide direction and supervision to assigned staff to ensure the consistency of standards so that services and related programs express the policies and procedures of Dilico and are within the legal framework of the Child and Family Services Act.

Qualifications and Requirements: Post-secondary education with a combination of work related experience in Child Welfare. Two or more years experience in Child Welfare direct service experience with Anishinabek children and families.

Hours of Work:  35 hours per week

Must have: Ability to work flexible hours in relation to service requirements; have a valid Class “G” driver’s license; have access to a reliable personal vehicle, and have $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.
