Assessment Brief Treatment Residential Services
Location: Thunder Bay

The Administrative Assistant will perform general secretarial duties while maintaining and ensuring polite, helpful, and courteous contact with the clients and staff of the ABTRS and individuals who have contact with the Unit by telephone or in person.
Qualifications and Requirements: A minimum two-year Health Record Technician or Secretarial Diploma is required. Three or more years’ experience in secretarial and administrative support duties, preferably in an Anishinabek alcohol and drug residential Unit. Candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualifications to practice, but who possess an approppriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week
Must have: Ability to work flexible hours; must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle; must complete a criminal records check; must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health.
